Prof of Cardiac Surgery, NICVD
Dr. Sohail Bangash is one of the country's renowned Paediatric Cardiac Surgen with specialization in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery. Apart from his MBBS, he collected his Fellowship (FCPS) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Cardiac Surgery. The beginning of his elemental journey at National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease dates back to 1987. He is responsible for laying the foundation of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Department at NICVD and is currently serving as the Incharge of the Department. Aside from this, he is also an active member of Pakistan Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Society of Thoracic Surgeons USA and Pakistan Society of Paediatric Cardiology.
