Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Eligibility:

Submit your abstract for the 13 Biennial Conference of PACVTS, ensure it hasn’t been published in previous editions

Choose Your Format: Submit your abstract for:

Presentation Types: Abstracts may be submitted for:

  • Oral Presentation

  • Free Paper Competition

  • E-Poster

Submission Guidelines:

  • Submit abstracts only through the website; email submissions are not allowed.

  • Abstracts must be sent before the deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.

  • One person can submit multiple abstracts but can present only one.

  • Presenting authors must be registered for the event.

Other Requirments:

  • The presenting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content and agree to its submission.

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English, with accurate grammar and spelling.

  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest is required in the submission form.

Key Steps Before You Start:

  • Presenting author’s contact details (name, email, affiliation, whatsapp number)

  • Author and co-authors’ details

    Font: Font should be Times new roman / Calibri and size should be 10

    Preferred presentation type (oral, e-poster, poster/e-poster viewing only)

  • Abstract title (in UPPER CASE, limited to 40 words)

  • A structured abstract including Introduction, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion (limited to 250 words, including acknowledgments).

  • Abstract topic (select from the list of topics)

Your Presentation

  • Your allocated presentation time and discussion period will be indicated in your abstract acceptance or invitation email.

  • Please note that only data projection will be available.

  • Presenters should download and use the template provided below

  • The use of personal laptops is not permitted. To avoid technical problems, computer presentations should be previewed in the Speaker Preview Centre no later than 2 hours before the start of the session in which the presentation is to be given.
